The CIFlorestas Intelligence Center
The Forest Intelligence Center - CIFlorestas - (Forest Sector Information Site), created in 2008, is a structuring action of the Forest Forest Based Agroindustrial System, instituted by Fapemig -funded Pole of Excellence, with the purpose of subsidizing public and private support, sustainable development and investment initiatives in the sector. In addition to being a reference in the dissemination and publishing of information on forest agribusiness.
The site is managed by forest, economy and agribusiness management specialists, being updated daily. The content contemplates: News; Business, commerce, quotations and product price statistics; Forest Bolsa, Future Market, National and International Market; Production and socioeconomic indicators; Steel industry, furniture, wood, pulp, paper; Ambience, carbon market; Policy and forest legislation, government and sectoral actions; Forestry; Madeiran and non -loggers forest products; Technical-scientific production and many others.
Goals
Capture, organize and manage marketing, economic, commercial, technical, environmental, cultural, social and legal information of interest to the agro -industrial forest -based agents, aiming to subsidize public and private initiatives for support, sustainable development and investments in the sector.
Mission
The mission of the Forest Intelligence Center is to polarize and disseminate market knowledge and information about the Brazilian Forest Base Sector, to generate wealth in a sustainable and renewable way for current and future generations, becoming a national reference center in knowledge, technologies, innovation and forest business.
Vision
Provide means of obtaining and management of information to easily make it available to interested agents of the various productive chains of cultivated or natural forests for the purposes of trade, conservation and environmental preservation, as well as culture and leisure.
